Everyday's a New Experience

This began as a private blog put together for my family to enjoy recipes and pictures. This in no means is meant to be professional. I don't have the desire or patience to do so. Majority of my pictures are taken with my iPhone and not staged. So, yeah the pics have crappy lighting and my regular dishes used. So, nothing fancy here. I wanted a place to put recipes that I've tried and liked in one place. Also, it cuts down on the time of me emailing or messaging recipes to family and friends.

Sweet Corn Cake

Copycat recipe by looneytunesfan

1 (7 ½ oz) package sweet cornbread mix
¼ Cup butter, melted
¼ Cup water
1 (15 oz) can cream style corn
1 Tablespoon honey, optional

In bowl, combine corn cake mix with melted butter. Add water and can of cream style corn. Mix until ingredients are combined.

Pour mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.

Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until liquid has been absorbed.

Use an ice cream scoop to serve sweet corn cake as a side dish or for dessert.
